Event and Trip Cleanup

Review a trip's photos together, without treating every large file as clutter.

An event can leave hundreds of photos and videos in Apple Photos. Siftory helps you review a relevant period in one place; you decide which memories to keep.

How does an event review work?

  1. Open Photo Library Tools separately from screenshot organization and choose Event & Trip Cleanup.
  2. Use the suggested date and location context to focus on one trip, celebration, or busy day. Check the group before deciding it represents one event.
  3. Open a photo or video full-screen. Zoom or rotate a photo, play a video, and share an item when another person should help decide.
  4. Select only what you intend to remove. Siftory does not delete a whole event or trip automatically.

What if a photo matters even though it looks similar?

Keep it. Two takes of the same place can preserve different people, expressions, or moments. A suggested group is a way to reduce scrolling, not proof that its photos are interchangeable. For genuinely near-identical takes of one moment, compare them in Best Shots.

Will a large video be marked as bad?

File size is only a review priority. A long video may be valuable. Open it and decide for yourself. The Storage Map can show where space is used without judging the memory.

What is available without Premium?

You can review one event or trip in the free preview. Premium unlocks further event reviews. A group you already unlocked remains available on your iPhone. See the Free and Premium guide for the other tools.
